Getting started
- Start a SOAP entry: tap Begin on the Today tab to journal through Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer with Apple Pencil.

Frequently asked questions
Where is my journal stored?
Entirely on your iPad. Abide does not require an account and does not transmit your journal entries, handwriting, or photos anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Does Abide back up to iCloud?
Not yet. iCloud sync is planned for a future update. Today, everything lives locally on your device — if you delete the app or your iPad, your journal goes with it, so consider taking your own backups (e.g. iCloud / iTunes device backup).
Which Bible translations are available?
KJV and WEB are bundled and work fully offline. You can switch between them in Settings under Scripture.
How does handwriting search work?
Abide uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to recognize your handwriting when you complete an entry, so you can later search your journal by what you wrote. Recognition happens entirely on your iPad — nothing is sent to a server.
Can I add a photo to an entry?
Yes. Use the photo picker in an entry's detail view to attach a hero image. Photos are saved locally in the app's storage, never uploaded.
How do I request a feature or report a bug?
Email raulmartinez.code@gmail.com with as much detail as you can, including your iPadOS version and steps to reproduce any issue.
